17 Years Experience - College, ODP, High School, Youth. A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Michelle Alioto currently holds a USSF National “C” license with 17 years experience coaching soccer at every level from U4 to college. She is the head coach of the '04 Girls Herndon Deportivo and '06 Alianza travel program, leads the HYS U5 Microkicks program, and assists in coaching for the HYS U8 Premiere Training program. She has been Director of Operations for SOL Soccer since 2011.

Prior to coming to the D.C. Metropolitan area, Alioto was the head coach for the NCAA Division III women’s soccer program at MSOE in Milwaukee. In her second year at the helm, she rebuilt the program into a competitive league contender that placed five players to the All-Conference team. While coaching college, she also led trainings for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program (ODP). Alioto also coached girls’ and boys' travel soccer in the Milwaukee area, as well as girls’ soccer for Rufus King High School.  For almost 10 years, she coached at several summer camps around Wisconsin for organizations such as the Milwaukee Wave of the MISL and the British American Soccer Program.

After a standout high school soccer career that included being named Conference Player of the Year and named to the Wisconsin State All-Star team, Alioto played NCAA Division I locally at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As a defender/defensive midfielder, she helped the program win its first conference championship and earn its first NCAA Tournament bid in school history. Her dedication and leadership earned her the captaincy and the Laura Moynihan Award.

Now with three children of her own, Alioto has experienced soccer as a player, coach, and parent and therefore takes special interest in nurturing passion for the game in players of all ages.
