LMVSC Patriots Plan Trip to Argentina to train at Club Atletico Boca Juniors Academy.

The U-14 Boys LMVSC Patriots, who are trained year round by Coach Nick Arzani, are planning a Summer 2009 trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina to train at the world famous Club Atletico Boca Juniors Academy. The trip has been months in the planning, and consists of a two week schedule of international competition and daily training for the Patriots players at the Boca academy.

The training program at the Boca academy is being overseen and managed by Ramon Maddoni, one of the most accomplished developers of soccer talent in the world. Maddoni has personally worked with and trained some of Argentina’s most famous players, including Carlos Tevez, Fernando Gago and Juan Roman Riquelme. Maddoni and his sons Manuel and Gaston, currently oversee training and development at the Boca academy. As such, they are responsible for the development and training of some of Argentina’s most promising youth players.

The trip has been planned by Nick Arzani through his personal and professional ties to the Boca club and to Maddoni, with whom Nick trained in his days with the Boca Juniors. The Patriots players are truly excited about the opportunity to immerse themselves in the intensive training and competition schedule planned for them, and to experience the importance and prominence of futbol in the Argentine culture. The team and its invited guests will be departing on or about June 19, with a return planned for July 3 of this year.

Stay tuned for updates on the trip!
